that those who are supposed to meet
are connected by an invisible red thread
that exists before birth
The red thread may stretch or tangle
but it won’t break...it will keep unraveling
from the greater circle until you come
heart to heart with those on your thread
We are ever moving towards one another
shortening the distance every day
When we are finally together, we may say,
‘I remember you - I have missed you!’
We are already connected!
We each have a sacred responsibility
to own unique red thread!
I will witness you; will you witness me?

The Way of the Red Thread is the pathway to the connectedness of all sentient beings. It is the cosmic thread that connects us to each other. It intertwines through time and space, feeding and holding each participant with love and grace. A reminder that we are never really alone. The Red Thread is there for anyone that wants or needs to reach for it.
In Native American culture we say ‘Aho Mitakuye Oyasin’ which means, we are all related. We are all interconnected, and the Red Thread is a tangible visual that we can see in our mind’s eye, that we can wrap around our wrist, that we can connect within a quantum field of higher consciousness.

Finding the community of Shiloh Sophia with her Cosmic Cowgirls and the Red Thread and the many paths she has opened to help women and girls awaken and align with their deeper beingness has been a gift. Helping so many remember the importance of their own gifts, their dreams and in return learning, then giving back by teaching others.
I remember the first time I went into Shiloh’s gallery and laid eyes on her paintings, they moved me, and I said, “I need to meet this person.” I’d never done that before, and here we are over ten years later. We have gathered at each other’s weddings. We have celebrated ceremony. I have been a lead teacher in her training, Color of Woman, and have gone twice to the United Nations at her invitation to weave the Red Thread and share the challenges Native Women and girls are facing.
I have led many circles and Ceremonies with Shiloh Sophia and the Red Thread always holds the medicine of our intentions. I have observed the beautiful progression of women finding their way.
My work has always been the empowerment of women and girls, so this has been a wonderful cosmic union. I so honor the work Shiloh Sophia does and the lives that she changes through Intentional Creativity - the opening of hearts and minds through her art, poetry, writings, and progressive quantum thinking.
