Solstice Recording

Greetings to our cherished MUSEA Community!

On behalf of MUSEA and our Curator, Shiloh Sophia, we are thrilled to invite our global community to join us for a Solstice Year-End Ceremony as we celebrate the great turning of the wheel together and open the portal for what's coming in the new year.

Solstice is the perfect time to pause, vision, dream, create and connect with your inner Muse, which is why during this event we will be doing an Intentional Creativity process together to explore the wisdom our Muse has to share this time of year!

There are a few painting materials to prepare for this experience (see below). Or, you are welcome to simply watch and draw with paper and markers or pens.

Materials to Prepare

If you have these materials, that's great. And if not, paper and pens or markers will do!

  • 2 Pieces of watercolor paper (hot press if possible) size 22x30, weight 140lb.
  • Watercolors or Acrylics in a rainbow of colors + black and white
  • Paintbrushes in a variety of sizes
  • Sharpie or black pen
  • Water jar and Spray bottle
  • Paper towels
  • Painting smock or clothes you can paint in
  • Computer with a strong internet connection

We invite you to create a Solstice altar. Perhaps with candles, elements in nature, a ball of red thread, and anything that helps you feel connected to yourself and your vision for the new year.

You can find art materials at a local arts and crafts store. Or search Amazon or www.blick.com
