We consider you a guest at the feast table, the art table, and the bodywork table. Our Northern California Collective members span the Bay Area, and our current central location is Sonoma.

Musette is the new gallery, workshop, film studio, and event venue curated by Sonoma artists Shiloh Sophia and Jonathan McCloud. They are the dynamic team behind MUSEA - an art museum and school with a global following. They have been together for ten years in love, work, and life. They are pleased to open their latest retail storefront on the Sonoma Plaza at 492 1st Street East. (Right next door to Ledson Hotel.) Musette will be a space for local and global art exhibits, art classes, calls for art, unique gifts, and much more.
Musette is a working studio where MUSEA’s robust online education program will be broadcast live or filmed and produced. Musette will be a welcome space for the school and gallery’s menu of speakers, book talks, workshops, classes, and more that bring visitors from all over the US and over 70 countries where students are based worldwide.
Come visit us and delight your senses!
The root system of work in Sonoma goes back to 1970 with our founder, Shiloh Sophia’s Mother, and Grandmother, who had their shop less than a block from the current Musette location. Shiloh Sophia had a gallery in Sonoma 2000 and re-opened in 2016 at the 75 Fremont Drive location. In January 2021, Shiloh Sophia and Jonathan opened Musette Atelier on the Sonoma Plaza, offering intentional arts, medicines, and events. The Cura Council began with women-only monthly circles at Musette. In January 2022, we opened the Cura Council virtually, featuring eight ceremonies a year for the local and global community. In January 2023, we founded our local chapter of the Cura Council and shifted the name from Atelier to include Apothecary to focus on the Healing Arts Social Club.
We desire to gather with the community across the Bay Area to bring you our gifts of healing, art, journeys, wellness clinics, herbal remedies, and experiences. The remedy you seek is within reach. Find Yourself Here.
The Mothership is the MUSEA Center for Intentional Creativity and Consciousness. Musette is an independent project within the MUSEA constellation and collaborates with our University and Museum. MUSEA is one of the world’s largest, oldest organized art movements, which the world has ever seen, with tens of thousands of people experiencing our work and centering on the art and stories of women.
We think of this collective as an ‘exhibit’ and will be documenting our experience and featuring it as a show at our foundation 501(c)(3), MUSEA, The Intentional Creativity Museum.
For the first phase, Shiloh Sophia’s art will remain the primary backdrop for the experience. Product kiosks are welcome on the floor for YOUR WORK and YOUR PRODUCTS. Your Shows and events are encouraged and welcome. If there are visual artists who want to do a solo or a group show, we can book that together, and we can support product development like cards, prints, yoga mats, etc., and work together on printing and production. Investments in products will be at your own expense.
