The Science of WHY it works

Activate Your Healing Potential Through Creativity and Create a Painting that Represents Your Personal Healing Journey with Shiloh Sophia

Sing, Pray, and Declare with Anasuya and Lavender. Join with a group of wild and wise women to amplify the quantum field for maximum healing potential.

Riding the Wave is a Healing Journey to Create Coherence and Awareness of the Relationship Between the Invisible and Visible World.

A Message from Shiloh Sophia, Musea Curator and Co-Founder of Intentional Creativity

Will you ride the wave with me? This is an invitation to an exploration of the invisible and visible world of you. Your gorgeous, often fragile, unpredictable yet perfectly designed human package! Do you have something you are working to heal but have yet to feel a sense of complete healing? You are not alone.

A lot of us feel this way. It can be frustrating to work so hard and in so many different modalities and feel the change you have visualized, prayed over, and invested time and resources into. And yet the feeling of healing still evades us - and certainly, a sense of feeling WHOLE remains someplace we are yet to arrive.

What is the secret?

There is something that is not quite a secret because if you ask most alternative healers about it they would agree....but then why don't most of us know about it?

I didn't even know about it and I have studied healing all of my life. I started hearing little tidbits here and there from different energy healers and clairvoyants and bodyworkers and I started asking questions. Digging deeper. Then I got into the science of it. I was like a detective looking for the ONE THING I felt was missing. But of course, it isn't just me. It is pretty obvious and I want us to keep talking about it.

  • WHY aren't we talking about coherence in healing more?
  • WHY aren't we methodically practicing it more and experimenting?
  • WHY aren't we harnessing the power inherent within us?

And I might add. Who is maybe profiting from us not having awareness of how our body works? What would happen if an entire generation was more empowered to heal themselves?

If you follow my work you will know that I don't believe everything happens for a reason or that you called in your suffering/illness/challenges. In fact, I believe this popular thought is one of the big issues we are facing - the mentality of "why" doesn't move us very much closer to actual healing.

You will also be aware that I am over the moon disturbed by all the chemicals and toxicity we are dealing with. Despite it all, I continue to feel motivated to share this material with you, to bring as much healing as possible into your own two hands and heart!

Catalyzing natural healing has long been an elusive area of study. Yet there is one CLEAR PATH we can each take to awakening the healing potential.

Healing Coherence between particle and wave, invisible and visible energy, and inviting them to move into agreement increases the capacity for your body to communicate with you exponentially. These images are from Shiloh Sophia's WAVE painting in process.

Experience the Power of Intentional Creativity

How would it feel to have the power to take action on behalf of physical, mental, and emotional healing instantly? To have tools - at the ready - to react powerfully when trauma or challenges hit?

After participating in the Medicine Painting ritual, you will be hopefully inspired to work with creativity in a new way to activate your healing potentials. While this class is just a taste of how to work with it - it will give you enough to practice again and again for yourself and conduct healing experiences on your own and online with others.

Our hope is that you will feel INSPIRED to dance with your invisible self and visible self as equal partners in transformation.

Currently, we all are experiencing disruption to our normal routines and ways of being. Our awareness and perspectives of our community health, safety, equality, and political values have heightened and may even be shifting with each day. Change such as these introduces challenges and for some, it may create or trigger past trauma. Know what I mean? Geez. There is a lot to navigate right now.

How do we stay resilient in the face of all that is going on externally and within ourselves?

How do we create distinctions between the person, transpersonal, and collective spaces?

I and the Intentional Creativity community feels it's important, now more than ever, to support one another in riding the wave....finding the flow...joining in beauty...and working together to create evolution that leads to a revolution!

From a science perspective, this Riding the Wave class explores how to create greater coherence between what occurs for us as particle density within the physical body (the visible) and the validity of energy in the body (the invisible) a.k.a. the wave. Painting and singing and praying, invite us to engage with the FLOW which moves past the pre-frontal cortex and into the bliss zone. YAHOOO!

This online class provides you an opportunity to ...

  • Develop a revolutionary tool for self-healing you can use again and again
  • Learn a potent Intentional Creativity Healing Protocol for healing trauma
  • Move into a place of empowerment to address lingering wounds
  • Elevate your co-creative potential for consciously moving energy
  • Connect with Spirit/Source in Prayer and Sound in a Pure Field
  • Create an abstract Medicine Painting to amplify the Impacts of Healing
  • Explore creating coherency in the field and body
  • Quantum connection along the red thread
  • Learn about Color of Woman 2021 and the Paths of Intentional Creativity

I am sharing all of this with you because I recently had a powerful healing experience and was so moved by it, I recorded an audio clip and then had it transcribed. It was simple, yet very specific, and I felt a profound shift, after which the trauma connected with that healing was cleared and has not returned, even though it was rather persistent for years. I was speaking to my friends and colleague Anasuya Isaacs about it and she wanted to try it and contribute to it. So we decided to share it with you. Healing and creativity are my cup of tea, my joy, and my practice for the past 27 years.

with big love,

Shiloh Sophia

Creativity flows from a living fountain of instinct; hence the unconscious is not merely conditioned by history but is the very source of the creative impulse. ~ Carl Gustav Jung

About Medicine Painting

Medicine Painting is a practice woven throughout human history that we are seeing a revival in our modern times, as people are called to take healing into their own hands. Approaching painting as a healing journey can be thought of as a blooming branch of neo-shamanism (methods of seeking visions or healing) with roots that go back to healing rituals and ceremonial practices of storytelling, marking, dancing, singing, alchemy, and prayer. All of these can be considered tools for resiliency, connection, and insight during times of great change.

Medicine Painting is an intuitive journey that grants access to our internal guidance system - the inner healer. More often than not, we don't know what we know. With painting specifically, we do have a way to make what our subconscious or unconscious knows, visible. Imagination may be one of the most potent links to recovering from trauma and illness that we have available. Our hope is that our culture can begin to include this medicine painting as a valid pathway to healing, not as a fringe practice, or the domain of the gifted few, but as an integrative approach to self-healing.

Our Intentional Creativity approach to Medicine Painting is painting with an intent to heal and receive insight. Which activates an inherent life force for anyone to spark healing, not just artists, the talented, or those who feel they are creative. Creativity cannot be relegated to those with skill alone. We have been practicing this way of working in our creative lineage since the 1930s. I am thrilled to share that tens of thousands of women around the world work with our Intentional Creativity® methodology to embark on a healing journey - to ride the wave - through Medicine Painting.

What does Medicine Painting look like?

The practice, process, and production of Medicine Painting is unique to every person. In this brief video, you will see some of the paintings I have worked with over the past few years that demonstrate my version of Medicine Painting, and some of the potential beneficial impacts. I have experienced these beneficial impacts personally and have had students share with me the incredible impacts they have experienced from their medicine painting journeys.

I encourage you to get a cup of tea and have 'cafe' with me. Take your time and see what arises for you. Perhaps you will feel called to bring Medicine Painting into your own healing journey.

What some students are saying about their Intentional Creativity Medicine Painting experience

“Intentional Creativity played a huge role in my healing from cancer. It allowed me to quickly arise out of a dark place with diagnosis, into a positive-minded healing place within myself. The process opened my mind and spirit to the messages of truth to come through, thus healing my body. My oncologist had no answer for my pathology reports to be so so much lower than when initially diagnosed. I am cancer-free and intend to stay that way.” ~ K. McLane

"Intentional Creativity has been a game-changer for me! I was blessed to experience physical healing while participating in one of Shiloh Sophia’s retreats. Recently I had been diagnosed with a serious life-threatening intestinal disorder. During my painting process at the retreat, I purposely decided to ‘place’ it into a container I had painted onto my canvas. With each brushstroke, I declared “my illness can live in here now”. I approached this with a playful energy and no expectations. In order to truly believe in what I was doing, I even went off of my medication. My illness and symptoms have never returned and it’s been over a year ago! Such is the potential power of Intentional Creativity." ~ Lisa Adriana

“Intentional Creativity helped me reconnect to and be able to listen to my body. I was completely disconnected from the neck down, believing that my body couldn't keep me safe and my body always failed me. We were in constant conflict with each other and I engaged in behaviors that were unkind and unloving toward her. Intentional Creativity allowed me to access those stories, create dialogue, and form a loving relationship with my body which has impacted my health in a positive way.” ~ Heidi S. Moondancer

“Shiloh McCloud is an exquisite artist, a great teacher, and a healer. In four hours she was able to heal 40 years of emotional wounding that kept me from painting. Her process is amazing. She draws out the spirit within and guides you in expressing your innermost knowing. Since studying with her I have painted on a regular basis and much to my surprise my work has been exhibited, purchased, understood and enjoyed by others. The time you spend with Shiloh is worth every minute of it. Do yourself a favor and pick up that paintbrush.” ~ Chief Yeye Luisah Teish
