OUR 2024 MEMBERSHIP THEME

INTRODUCING OUR 2024 THEME

In 2023, we explored our yearlong theme of Creative Sanctuary and invited you to journey with us along the Wheel of the year as part of your MUSEA Membership journey. Creative Sanctuary is - a dedicated space for Intentional Creativity artists to engage in devotional creativity, art-full self-care, Red Thread belonging, soul-sourced resilience, and conscious and loving community. We are informed by the cultural framework and practice of Intentional Creativity rooted in a matriarchal lineage of art making with love at the center.

In 2024, with your Creative Sanctuary as an entry point, Your MUSEA Membership is an invitation to our wonderful Quantum Commons - a place where you can curate a culture of certainty in uncertain times.  At MUSEA a Curate is “she who cares for the village”. ’Learning to care through caring' is very real in our community. We are initiates going into our own unique caves as we do the deep work of self-discovery, deepening and reconnection with our relationship to creation and our place in it, or while we are experience difficult and challenging times, we can embody the knowing that when we are ready to come out of our caves, we can come to the quantum commons - in order to weave with everyone else in the community.

Our Quantum Commons Journey around the Wheel of the Year is an invitation for you to explore the 4 principles of Red Thread of Connection which also represent the directions in our wheel, in addition to the 4 in-between spaces that bridge us from one to the other, giving us 8 turns of the wheel.

Caring for the Village as we turn the Wheel:

Connected - You are already connected. This is the first legend of the Red Thread of Connection.  In our Intentional Creativity Community and culture the Red Thread is a talisman of connection and protection. When we hold it and tug on it, it connects us in the Quantum Commons and reminds us that we can always ask for what we need  as well as offer our gifts to another.  The Red Thread may twist and tangle, but it will never break. It is believed that we are all connected by an invisible Red Thread since we were born and have been moving towards each other all our lives. It must be true because here we are!

Sisterhood - Through our choice to be connected in Red Thread, we become weavers of the tapestry of sisterhood, by adding our piece to the whole. As we lean in from a field of compassion we allow ourselves to see our common threads. Through this weaving we are forming bonds, collaboration, compassion, inspiration, and become torch bearer for others, as we dance each other home.

Called - You called this circle as we called this circle.  This is the second legend of the Red Thread of Connection.  What called you here? There are so many reasons to call circle in the world today. We call circle to create sacred space to move the stories that no longer serve us, so that in speaking them perhaps for the first time we can release ourselves from their hold on us.  What are you called to create, transform, illuminate?  Who are you calling out of the caves..When we call circle, we are inviting the village to the Quantum Commons where we agree to meet.

Exploration (of IC) - cultivation of your personal journey to curate a deeper relationship with your authentic voice and authorship using Intentional Creativity as a tool to gain access to the inner landscape of you. By creating sacred space and ritual to honor your sense of place in relationship to all of creation and the collective. Cultivating Conscious awareness, active imagination as you create with intention and Love at the center from a coherent field and presence.

My Piece - We are all connected by an invisible Red Thread. Although you choose to be part of the whole through your membership, you are only responsible for your piece. Your piece of the Red Thread is a sacred responsibility or calling of what you want to stand for...It is what are you here to cause and create. Holding your piece is also an invitation to a capacity for conscious compassion as you witness yourself, others, and the world. This creates space for you to hold your piece firmly in your beliefs and hold space for others to stand firm in their beliefs without judgement.

Education (in IC), Learning how to collaborate with creation through conscious creative expression. Using IC as a tool and catalyst to amplify the power of healing. Harness the power of IC to expedite our personal alchemy as we create with intention and conscious awareness, choice, and sovereignty. By learning the science of art through metacognition we can alchemize our relationship with our stories and deepen our creative practice. When you choose to cultivate an education in IC you are choosing to be a steward for your own resilience and self care. In this way, you can return to the Quantum Commons to care for the village as we cocreate our vision for the next 500 years.

Witness - I witness you as you witness me. This is the forth legend of the Red Thread of Connection.  It is also one of the most powerful components of Intentional Creativity. This is where the magic and healing happens.  How we witness is part of caring and a core facet of community. Cultivating compassion for our community, the collective, and ourselves as our first beloved. When we activate our inner observer through the practice of Intentional Creativity, we expedite our access to our inner voice and shifts how we care for ourselves and others through the common threads we share.

Our Creative Sanctuary is a place where you know you belong and can always visit whenever you need or want. You are welcome here as you are. This is a space for nourishment, rest, recovery, and strengthening through creative practice. Traditionally, sanctuary was provided to those in need of shelter, safety, and respite from the outside world. And we could all do with a bit of that too!

In this Creative Sanctuary each member is invited to experience the freedom of being self expressed and authentic. It is a liminal and timeless place where you can recharge and tap into your creative potential, which reignites your creative life force through the transformational tool of Intentional Creativity and the witness of community.

Welcome to our MUSEA Member Creative Sanctuary. May you deepen you Intentional Creativity devotional practice here and find greater joy and meaning in your life.

This journal is its own small version of a Creative Sanctuary - one you hold in your hands and can visit anytime you wish to express and reflect what is arising for you. We will be providing you with drawing and painting skill shares and examples along the way to inspire you!

Attend our Monthly Membership Circles + Share your Creative Projects 🎨

Our Membership Circles are the main ingredient and benefit of your MUSEA Membership. These are the spaces where we practice Intentional Creativity together in a supportive, welcoming, and joyful environment. Part of the ethos of Intentional Creativity is that it is a devotional practice - meaning that it has the most powerful, transformational impact on the individual practicing it when we engage with it on a regular basis. It doesn't have to be a long session, even 30 minutes to an hour a week is a great place to begin! Our Membership Circles are the dedicated spaces for MUSEA member to schedule time in their calendar for Intentional Creativity and receive the motivation, accountability, and nourishing group energy that supports us in staying in our practice. When attending your membership circles, we invite you to be PROUD of yourself for showing up for creativity in your life! You are doing it! You are making art and tapping into your inner guidance system. At our online circles, we invite you to have any project you are working on set up in your space so we can witness what you've been working on. Plan for ALL membership circles to run for ONE HOUR.
