MUSEA’s CURA Council’s 500 Year Vision for the Quantum Commons

A vision for 8 Ceremonies following the Wheel of the Year for 500 years. Imagining where we might be in 20 generations stretches the eye of the heart to see in the spaces in between the spaces to find an inter-generational quantum commons.

Cura Council Group Healing Ceremony
A Gathering on the Cross-Quarter — August 1

On the first of August we arrive at the great turning point between the Solstice and the Equinox — the ancient cross-quarter, the old ones honored as the first harvest. In the north the fields grow heavy and gold; in the south the seed stirs quietly beneath the frost. Wherever you stand on the turning Earth, this is the day we pause to gather what has ripened in us, to bless it, and to tend what is still becoming. We have lots of changes in our community right now and so this feels particularly special to gather.

Those in the greater MUSEA community are invited to join us at 12pm, after a break from the ceremony in the same zoom room - for an update on MUSEA.

If you are reading this you are warmly invited into our online CURA COUNCIL Group Healing Circle — one village of humanity gathered across every timezone and hemisphere, each of us both holding and being held. All are welcome. All traditions are welcome. Come as you are, from wherever you are.

Our ceremony moves through three simple thresholds:

We begin with choosing to heal - whatever in the moment requests healing.

Meditation — We arrive. We settle the body, soften the eyes, and drop beneath the noise of the season into the still place where the energy of the Council awaits. Together we breathe ourselves into presence and let the year’s harvest rise gently into view.

Movement — From stillness, we let the body speak. Gentle, — gestures of gathering-in and letting-go, hands like reapers, hands like sowers. No skill needed, only willingness. We move as the wheat moves: rooted, swaying, alive and golden flow between us.

Magic — This is the Intentional Creativity® at the heart of our work. What we speak in a circle, we speak into the Quantum Commons — a tending, a spell of care for ourselves and for the world.

We open and close in ceremony - weaving our intentions into the one long red thread that connects us across the 500 years.

Bring: a candle, paper and pen and your open heart
