What is this WILD CARD?
WILD CARD is an uplifting guided step-by-step journey to create a resource 'deck' for insight into your OWN internal information. What do we mean by information? Your stories, symbols, archetypes, codes, patterns, cultural signs, imprints, totems, animals, sacred geometry, simply cool shapes, and self-invented glyphs and gifs.

What will we be doing?
WILD CARD is an invitation to create 44 custom hand-illustrated cards creating with Intentional Creativity and intuitive musing. Work with watercolor paper, paint, and ink. The 'content' within the cards is directly connected to the messages you carry within you. What do we mean by within you? Within your own mind, heart, body, field, and life story is a rich and complex library of "information" that belongs to YOU and can come through if you give your Muse the proper libations and flirtations. Each card will have two sides, so you will end up with 88 total images.

What is the big why?
WILD CARD is a call to awakening through pleasure, play, and pondering. We will work with 44 inquiries as catalyzing probes into your relationships, situations, beliefs, patterns, and mythologies to discover the juicy stuff, the both/and, the shadow/light, critic/muse. Basically, we are gonna get the unconscious conscious enough to translate it from the invisible to the visible. These images and their associated language and meanings will bring you PROFOUND insight since you are the one who made them.

What about drawing?
WILD CARD will show you all the basic drawings you need for the experience. You do not need prior experience, this is not about skill. That said we will teach basic gesture drawing and rendering and reducing ideas to glyphs. As well as show you how to develop your own personal made-up symbols. You may think you can't draw a bird, pomegranate, or teapot, but you will surprise yourself. That is part of the FUN! Taking a risk!

What is the theme?
WILD CARD will invite you to find your own theme through experimentation and observation. To design and name your deck and the relationship or meanings between the cards will arise naturally in the process. The theme is yours to design. That said, this isn't about fortune-telling, rather, it is about storytelling and using your own guidance system as the resource. You don't have to already use oracle cards or know Tarot or anything of the sort. All spiritual traditions and cultures are welcome. Also, we feel that your deck might be fun to use with others but only you know that. Chances are you will be proud and want to share them with others!

What can I use it for?
WILD CARD will offer you an awe-inspiring personal deck from which to draw insight, do personal readings, grow to understand your relationship with yourself, the frameworks you hold, and deepen your relationship with your Muse. This is a GREAT getting to know yourself tool while developing drawing and thinking skills.

And last but not least, when we are done with our labors we will mount a museum show of the 'best of' Wild Card images and call supper club parties all around the world. Because you know what? We need to play together and discover the gifts of the wild cards within us!
